Accommodation for Home/EU Postgraduate Students 2010-11

New Home/EU Postgraduate Students
- The application
commenced from March 1st and we have now reached the limit for places in
University Accommodation we can offer to such students. Therefore we are
not taking any further applications for 2010-11. We suggest
using our private sector housing pages
- Students with additional requirements should read more information
here
- We allocate postgraduate accommodation from August. If you are allocated
accommodation, you will receive an email asking you to log-in to the website
and review the offer made to you online
- We make every effort to allocate accommodation according to your
preferred choice but no guarantees can be given. When this is not possible
we automatically offer you the closest alternative accommodation available.
Later applicants may have to be offered a shared room or given details of
private sector accommodation
- Please read through all the information carefully, including the
Campus Life terms and conditions, as once you accept the offer it creates
a legally binding contract. You will need to accept the offer and make the
pre-payment
of £400
by the reply date or risk your room being re-allocated. If you reject an
offer of accommodation, we will be unable to make you another offer unless
there are special circumstances of which we were unaware at the time of allocation.
Accommodation Application Guidance 2010-11
We cannot guarantee University for Home/EU postgraduates in 2010-11. The application
commenced from March 1st and we have now reached the limit for places in
University Accommodation we can offer to such students. Additional applications
will be added to a waiting list but the chances of getting University Accommodation
are
now
quite small, we suggest using our private sector housing pages
After you have returned the acceptance of your
course offer please wait for confirmation
from the
Graduate
Office
that
they
have
received
and
you
are
able apply for University Accommodation. Until you have returned your acceptance
you cannot apply for accommodation, as our accommodation database will not
recognise your details.

Accommodation Available and Prices 2010-11
Accommodation for Home/EU postgraduates for 2010/11 will be located on campus
at Polden
Court, Woodland
Court and Osborne
House. But please note the majority of rooms will be available
in our off campus accommodation at Carpenter
House, Clevelands,Canal Wharf, Pulteney
Court and Thornbank
Gardens.

Private Sector Accommodation 2010-11

Contract dates for Postgraduate Students 2010/11
The standard Whole Session contract for Postgraduates will be;
25/09/2010 - 07/01/2011
07/01/2011 - 06/05/2011
06/05/2011 - 01/08/2011
01/08/2011 - 19/09/2011
However the contract for Postgraduates in Woodland Court will be;
25/09/2010 - 07/01/2011
07/01/2011 - 06/05/2011
06/05/2011 - 18/06/2011
Please note any Postgraduates living in Woodland Court can be transferred
to one of our City Centre residences if they wish to stay in Bath across
the Summer (June - September). But Woodland Court is only
available for student
use until 18th June.
Early Termination of Contract 2010/11
2010/11 prospective students are strongly advised to check our Notice of Termination Policy when considering applying for University Accommodation.
