Living in Bath
The University campus is about 2km from the centre of Bath. There is a frequent bus service to and from the University (and it can be walked for the more energetic!). A ten journey ticket available from STA Travel and the Bus Station, and it can be even cheaper if you purchase a discount pass for longer periods of travel. Bath is a beautiful city, with a lovely atmosphere and plenty of attractions to make your visit here both fulfilling and exciting.
For further information on living in the different areas of Bath, please view Local Area Information. The Bath Student Housing Handbook contains a map of Bath highlighting the different areas and the bus routes available around the city.
Private Sector Database - BathStudentPad.co.uk
The Accommodation Office maintains a regularly up-dated database of self catered accommodation lodgings, bedsits, flats and houses which are available to rent in the private sector.
The vacancies advertised
are offered for University of Bath students only and you will be
asked to provide details of the course you are attending which will be checked
by the Accommodation Office. Details are continuously updated and
new vacancies will become available on a regular basis. Most of these vacancies
are available from 1 July 2010, but please check with the landlord.
The Bathstudentpad.co.uk is
currently listing accredited and non accredited accommodation currently available.
Council Accredited Private
sector accommodation for the academic year 2010/2011 will be added to the database
from 12th February
2010.
Non-accredited vacancies will be added from 24th February
2010.
Once 2010/2011 private sector availability is listed, the database is
continually updated as we are notified of the relevant information.
Prior
to the release of the accommodation listings a Housing Forum will be held on Wednesday 10th February 2010 to give students all the information
needed to house hunt.
Students are strongly recommended NOT to be pressurised by landlords or agents
to commit to anything BEFORE the University database becomes available. Bath
has plenty of private sector accommodation.

what time you expect to be back.
