Accomodation Operations Teams

Each accommodation complex has its own Accommodation Operations Team who are responsible for ensuring the efficient day to day running of your accommodation which includes the cleaning and maintenance of the buildings. Should anything need fixing or replacing or you are not happy with the service you have received in the first instance please contact your Accommodation Operations Co-ordinator (contact details below). The teams are here to help with any enquiries that you may have during your stay in University Accommodation.

Accommodation Operations Team 1

The Accommodation Operations Team Leader for Team 1 has overall responsibility for the team, however in the first instance you should contact your Accommodation Operations Co-ordinator.

Polden Team (Polden Court, Quarry, Mendip and Osborne House)

Opening Hours: Monday to Friday 09.00 to 17.20 and Friday 09.00 to 17.10. Outside of these hours please contact Westwood Accommodation Services Centre

Linen change day: Friday between 09.30 and 13.00 at the relevant Housekeeping Office, linen can not be changed outside of these hours.

Westwood Team (Conygre, Quantock, Derhill, Cotswold and Norwood)

Opening Hours: Monday to Friday 09.00 to 17.20 and Friday 09.00 to 17.10. Outside of these hours please contact Westwood Accommodation Services Centre

Linen change day: With the exception of Norwood, Friday between 09.30 and 13.00 at the relevant Housekeeping Office, linen can not be changed outside of these hours. Norwood linen change is on Wednesdays between 09.30 and 13.00 from the Housekeeping Office in Norwood.

Laundry Facilities

Laundrette facilities can be found to the rear of the Westwood Accommodation Services Centre and on the ground floor of Norwood House next to the Students Union Reception.

Laundrette Prices

The laundry facilities are supplied and maintained by a third party company. In the event of a machine not working during your washing/drying cycle please contact Circuit Laundry on 0800 032 0070 with details of the laundry location and the machine number. Alternatively contact the Accommodation Services Centre located to the front of the Westwood student accommodation.

Reporting of Maintenance Issues

In the first instance any issues should be raised with your Accommodation Operations Co-ordinator, this can be done by telephone, in person or by completing the following form: Maintenance Form

If you feel that your issue has not been addressed satisfactorily by your Accommodation Operations Co-ordinator please contact in the first instance the Accommodation Operations Team Leader for your area.

Complaints

Accommodation and Hospitality Services are committed to providing the highest standards of customer care to their residences and customers. We provide a range of services and facilities and we aim to provide the best possible service we can. If, for whatever reason, you feel the service you are receiving does not meet the standards of the Code of Practice, please do not hesitate to speak to a member of the Housekeeping team, or report the problem to the Accommodation Services Centre on Campus, or in Carpenter House if you live in an off site complex.
